1952 VW Beetle Standard Model For Sale

This 1952 Standard Beetle comes to us from England where
it has been in the current owners hands since the late 1980's.

Thw restoration was completed in 2009 so it's not without flaw
but it still shows very well as you will see in the nearly 200 photos that were
sent to us to market the car.

The long UK history has come with a fair bit of press and awards
being seen in Volksworld Magazine as well as a couple of beloved VW books
written by Richard Copping.

Third to July 7th 1984
and then off registration for a few years and to the current and fourth owner in 1989

Engine was replaced in 1958 according to the records.
This is a 36hp unit versus the original 25hp.
The transmission is the original crash box unit and it remains on cable brakes.

Engine runs well and the car is an excellent driver according to the seller.
Brakes are surprisingly good, its a vehicle you can hop in and run!
While the seller has not brought it out to any events in the past 10 years he has kept it operational
and in service,

Early style oil breather/filler

Functional semaphores with flashing bulbs.
Rear lights have LED conversion as well which helps greatly with visibility.

Always garaged and definitely enthusiast owned and cared for.
Its been driven less than 1000KM over the past 20 years.

In closing this is a very nice car.
The standard model Beetles hold a special place in my heart as they really show the Beetle
in its purist origin form. Simplicity and as humble as possible. This is where it all began.
