One Owner Triple Black 1979 Beetle Convertible For Sale

This car was sold new right here in nearby Anaheim California and it is still owned by it's original owner.
It has always been garaged and well cared for and as you can see it looks fantastic.
Never wrecked, never rusted, well maintained...a dreamy find indeed.

The car has been repainted once on the exterior only but you would swear it's original paint when you see it.
The top is excellent as is the interior and well...just about everything. Its a very nice example.

Super straight body, nice bright chrome, everything fits and functions properly.
Very good runner and driver.

Nice straight front end, excellent hood fit, etc.

Front door panel has a speaker panel and is just starting to show some age...still presentable.

Passenger side panel...speaker mounting is nice as it supports the weight of the speaker well
(quite often they are installed just into the panel and they break away after a little time...these hold firm.

Original carpets and rubber mats.
Tunnel mat has a rip in it but is otherwise still holding firm.

Odometer reads 43,597 miles...actual mileage is 143,597.
Car has been very well maintained and properly serviced.
mechanically it is in great shape...cosmetically too..

And add to all this that it is one of the special edition triple black cars that were produced
only in 1979 as a nod to the first KDF Beetle Convertible prototype built in 1938 that was black in color.
Apparantly every VW Dealer got only one of these in this color combo, making it a very rare and desireable car indeed.
