
1964 VW Dune Buggy For Sale

This VW based dune buggy is a pretty exceptional build.
Far more than the usual fiberglass body on a cut down Beetle chassis,
this one features an impressive tube frame and major upgrades to suspension
and drive train that make it a truly serious off road machine.

The buggy is a pretty fresh build and it has only seen the most minimal road use.
While it was built to tackle the toughest off road trail
it has never been out there in the dirt doing what it was designed to do since its refurbishment.

The owner has used it in a parade and a few around town jaunts
but that is really about it, and that is why he is putting it up for sale...its just not getting used.

Lights and such are all working and the rig runs well.

Engine is a strong running performance engine that unfortunately the owner does not have the full specs
on it. The mechanic that services the car seems to think it is about a 2 litre in size
with dual port heads, big two barrel carb and full flow oil system.
Electric fuel pump, Tri Mill exhaust and 12 volt electrics with alternator.

Boss blue tooth audio system

Drum brakes up front.
Stainless braided lines and heavy duty aluminum tie rods.

Side brush guards are removable and are also tied into the frame for strength.

Wilwood brake and hydraulic clutch system.
