1963 VW Beetle Sedan For Sale
This is a very nice little blue Beetle that has been in the same caring
hands for the past 12 years here in Southern California
The car has had a lot of work done to it during current ownership
including a new interior, rebuilt transmission, brakes and more.
Its a clean "driver quality" car, not a show car, but obviously respectable and attractive
and best of all it is a turn key, ready to enjoy machine.
Euro bumpers and taillight lenses give it a nice clean look.
This was a US spec car, so this is a mild diversion from original
but I think it looks great on the car.
Thin whitewall radials on all white wheels and with the logos painted on the hubcaps
it really has some great curb appeal.
Stock height, never lowered or customized.
Euro headlights also are a cool addition.
Paint shines well but does have some flaws that we will get into down further in the photo array.
Brake system was all rebuilt at one point and the owner has documented all the work done
both in photos and on a nice clean spread sheet with copious notes.
The engine too was rebuilt and cosmetically restored.
New transmission mounts, cables, brake lines and more.

Spare wheel has a wide whitewall and is painted two tone
Jack is nice and clean and in its holder
Looks like signs of some mild body repair around the drivers side in the spare tire well
Very solid though and quite clean
Wiring looks good
Some paint chipping in the corners
Some small paint blisters on the fender
Touched up spot just behind the rain gutter on the passenger side.
A few dings and chips
Some careful well matched touch up paint could improve the car greatly when it comes to these small flaws.

Glass and rubber is holding up well
Just a bit of deterioration along the bottom edge of the rear window seal.
Insulation in the engine compartment has some rough edges

Nice car though...not so perfect that you would freak out driving it
which is cool, and its obviously quite the looker rolling down the road.

I like this car a lot...it is a solid and clean example with good documentation and some nice attention
and dollars spent on the things that make it a joy to own and driver.
Great interior, good mechanicals...this is a Beetle that will make the next owner a pretty happy human.
