1965 / 69 Beetle Sedan Show Car For Sale

There has been quite a few impressive restorations coming out of the shop of T-1 Restorations
in Arizona over the past few years. And this is one of them.

The "devil is in the details" as they say, so let me dive right in and start showing you some of the cool stuff
with this car.

Look at the paint finish on the fuel tank, the modern hardware, the cleanliness of the spare tire well, etc.

Striker plates and door jams all look like new.

The fit and finish of the panels...the glassy smooth paint finish...these are all attributes
that are seen on the seriously well restored cars.
This comes with a price though...the paint and bodywork on this car was over $13,000 !! Seriously!!

The interior is just as sweet and well detailed.
Quality restored steering wheel, well fit German square weave carpets, etc.

Under dash is super clean as well.

The mileage on the odometer is the actual mileage since the completion of the restoration.

Under the hood is clean and smooth as well.

Check out the smooth color matched wiring cover.

Factory sunroof car!

This shot taken during the contruction shows the detailing underneath it all.
Truly a ground-up restoration.

Wiring is all new as well.

Clean.

This is one of my favorite attibutes...super bright  LED trun signal lights mounted in the body trim!

Very subtle and fully functional.

Underneath the performance drivetrain.. check out the detail painted fender wells.

Deep oil sump and an awesome custom traction bar in the back.

Clean and well engineered.

Interior is very cleanly done with top quality materials.

Chassis is clean and detailed...not to crazy "see your face in the shine" level, but still very sanitary.

Nice work...and a great color...Bernina Blue, from the early Karmann Ghia.

Exhaust by Tiger at A-1...he's the best!

Gene Berg shifter and racing seat belts...the rest is stone stock and gorgeous.

Very nice salt and pepper and grey vinyl.

Clean un-cut dash.

Pop out quarter windows are perfect on a sunroof car.

The 2110cc engine was built by Jason Lauffer at VW Paradise...one of the biggest names in the biz.

Step on in...hold on and stab that "go-pedal" down to the floor!

2" narrowed adjustable front beam, dropped spindles and disc brakes up front.

A touched up paint chip...every car has one somewhere!

Door jams and hinges are super clean.

Some slight paint wear on the sill.

Here are a couple more tiny touch ups.

IRS rear suspension...chassis is from a 1969 model.

40mm Dellorto carbs...clean and simple...no wild chrome or unneccessary trimmings.

Super tidy wiring.

Here is a photo of the body shell after paint...

And the whole car together.

Spare tire well.

Headliner.

Nice stance...low but not too low.

Decklid stand off in back to let the engine breathe a bit.

Clean Arizona title.

In closing it is obvious that this was a very very well done professional restoration from start to finish.
Amazing body and paint, clean and detailed underbelly, pro built performance drivetrain
and that classic "Resto Cal" look combination of stock trim and big mechanicals.
The owner has dumped SERIOUS money into the build of this car and it is priced far far below the cost.
Why build one yourself? Save money and grab one that is DONE and get ready for play time!!
