1969 VW Double Cab For Sale

This Idaho based 69 Double Cab is a clean and solid example with
a rebuilt engine and some tasteful upgrades that make it an excellent driver.

The truck shows well but is not a concours level restoration.
It has its flaws and signs of use but has been very well kept and cared for.

The truck came out of California and shows signs underneath of it being a dry climate truck.

A few nice accessories such as this trailer hitch with its ZVW part number visible.

Stock exhaust.

Added sway bar for improved stability

Looks solid underneath

Wiring looks good

1600cc single port engine was rebuilt and well detailed.
Only about 5000 miles on this engine since this rebuild.

Cylinder tins and hardware all nicely finished.

Splash pan below is also nice and clean

Interior looks good.

Original door panels in the rear compartment.

Under dash parcel tray is another nice accessory.
Same for the shifter extension.

Floor mat looks like a nice original

Headliner in great shape

Rear mat

Very solid and original under the back seat

Rear seat is original upholstery and has yellowed a bit from age but is holding up well.

Glass and rubber all looks good

There is a slight inconsistency in the door gap forward of the door which
the owner thinks may have been from a front nose panel replacement done at some point.

The paint on the nose is a bit cleaner than the rest of the truck as a result of that repair.

Rest of the truck is reportedly original paint which is wonderful to see.

Nice dash

Original paint on the bed and gates is pretty awesome to see.

Engine room is super clean as well

5000 miles since rebuild

Tool roll

And its even got tools!

Really nice looking truck

What a sweetheart! I love the side step and the aluminum wheels as well.

The owner states that this is mostly original paint...which...well.. WOW
it looks fantastic for a truck of this vintage!

Door gap

Solid rockers

Great body on this truck

Even has the original wood strips in the bed.

Front brakes have been converted to 1971 disc brakes with the smaller 5 lug bolt pattern.
The slotted aluminum wheels are wrapped with nice rubber.

Side gates are seriously nice.
These often get very beat up from hauling loads.

Nice reflection down the sides

Straight!

Solid original floors

This is a rare find in this condition. The replaced or repaired front nose panel being the only
body repair, the rest looks fantastic....and if it is original paint I must say its one of the cleanest
I have seen in many years.  Very good truck and priced at a very realistic level for a fast sale.
