This Buyer's Guide is designed to help the Vintage VW buyer know what to look for when purchasing a Vintage VW. How to identify the years and models, special problem areas to keep an eye open for, and a rough price guide for all models. The information in this guide is not to be considered the "Holy Grail", but has been compiled by long time VW enthusiast Randy Carlson, who has owned nearly 40 Vintage VW's, many of which have been featured in the magazines.
