This Northn California based 72 Westy Camper is a great survivor.
Original family it's whole life, garaged for most of it and very well cared for.
Mostly original paint...nose was resprayed at one point and possibly the drivers side long panels
as there seems to be a color variation going on there...but a super solid example.
Fully loaded with all the camping bits, these make fantastic adventure machines.
Very solid underneath
1700cc engine has dual carbs and runs strong.
Dirty underneath...but looks solid.
Floors are solid as well
Very good...these are common spots for these to really get crusty...this one is very sound.
The original ice box with side table and spice rack is included in the sale.
Currently out of the van, but in fine shape and ready to put right back.
Westfalia tag
Original flooring is in impressive condition as it has always been covered by carpet!
Instructional stickers are all still here.
Original upholstery in pretty nice shape
Canvas on the pop top is original and holding up well.
Interior light
Dash looks very nice
Folds out flat into a nice bed.

Vent wings and crank out side windows are all functional.
A light window tint has been applied to the original glass.
Nice shape inside!
The original cabinet for the back corner is gone.
Top vent
Roof opens up fine and all is fully functional.
Here is a dent just behind the drivers side wheel.
Electrical outlet
Really a very good solid example.
It has a nice air of originality to it and it is nice to see that.
If you are someone that wants a really cherry example, perhaps you could do a re-spray
but personally I like it just the way it is...just fire it up and travel.
The nose was repainted at one point as you can see and there is a notable color difference.
Front end looks straight
A couple of small dings in the door.
A good sized scrape down low on the passenger side.
Here is a soft dent in the rear corner.
Original wheels could use a respray as the silver paint has faded and a bit of surface rust coat them.
Original panels show some wear but overall are in decent shape.
Accessory under dash trays are very cool!
Cool spot for stashing goodies!
Steering wheel has an old school cover on it.
Front seats look like they are in nice condition.
Shift extender with a cool custom knob.
Front doors have the wind deflector visor deals.
Pretty clean!
Original rear door screen and front window curtain are stashed in the closet.
Added speakers in the overhead cabinet.
Alpine audio head unit with removable face.
Original ID tag
Quite clean!
Looks like the camp stool is present as well!
Overhead cot in nice shape
Fold up table.
Nice condition on the camp stool!
Electrical outlets
The ice box will fit right back in here with ease.
Roof paneling looks to be in good shape...domelight is present.
Steering wheel looks great!
A cool addition from the 70's
Assist strap on the closet
Here are a couple of very small flaws on the rear seat back...the rest of the upholstery is really quite nice.
These clip on hanging cup holders are pretty cool!
Window rubber looks pretty decent...the tint keeps it cooler inside.
Storage under the rear seat.
Wall closet in good shape.
Seat belts are mounted for safety in the back.
It has this emblem on the back in case you forget what brand car it is!

The original window sticker is still with the Bus!!
It was sold originally in Ohio and spent 24 years there, always garaged and never driven in winter.
It came to California after that and is now in the hands of the grand daughter of the original owner...always in the family!
Really a great Bus...well preserved, great history, runs and drives well and a very solid example.
