1965 VW Beetle Sedan For Sale

This is a 65 Beetle Sedan that has a mild Cal Look style to it and a whole lot of new stuff.
It is located in Southern California and has had a recent restoration with very few miles on it.

The body is nice and straight and the paint has some pearl in it so it really looks neat in the sun.

Quite a few upgrades like disc brakes up front, sway bars front and back, rebuilt transmission and a mild performance engine.

Adjustable front beam allows for you to set the ride height where you like it.

Nice 5 spoke wheels with very good rubber...slightly lowered but not "slammed"

Very classic look to the car...body trim shaved off the side and such...makes it look smooth!

Stainless exhaust and muffler

Very minimal miles on the fresh engine and transmission.
No heater for you cold climate folks.
I like the auxillary oil filter and deep sump

Very very solid car underneath...floorpans and heater channels look good.

Same on the drivers side...very solid car.

Transmission was rebuilt very few miles ago...check out the rear sway bar as well.

Pretty clean!

Paint is nice, just a few flaws here and there, but really a nice clean "driver" quality car.

It is not spotless show car stuff, but it is very clean and fresh inside and out and is a car that will undoubtably get
a lot of attention on the road and at the local cruise night.

Inside is modernized a bit with good tunes and cushy upholstery.

Seats and panels are done in red and grey velour...very nice.
Adds some color to an otherwise pretty plain car.
Seats are from a Honda and have been really nicely modified into lowbacks.
They are quite comfortable!

Rear seat is all done to match...very clean inside.

New carpets in grey...door sills treated with a durable "hammertone" finish.

Headliner done in black...nice fit!
Domelight even works!

Odometer reads 72,000 miles but actual mileage on the car is undocumented.
The owner figures there are only a few thousand miles on it since the completion of the restoration at most.

Scat shifter.

Headliner looks great...matching sunvisors in black.

Door panels are clean

Stereo head unit is hidden in the glove box.

Glass is all good and rubber seals all new.

There are a couple spots on the paint where cracks are starting...like here in the crease in the pressing on the hood
there is a spot where the paint has lifted a bit.

Underside of hood looks good.

Original jack is in the holder.

A little odd here...the bottom of the spare tire well has been removed and a stiff steel bar welded in place to keep the spare in place.
One positive side of this is that you wont get  water stuck in that area...evertything will just drain right out!

With the spare in place it all looks clean and normal...new wiring cover fitted as well as a carpet kit.

Nice!

Here is another paint blister on the hood.

Headlights look like new.

Hood fits well as to the fenders and all panels.

Clean ride!

Wheels look new as do the tires.

Rear deck lid has a 1300cc emblem on the back.

Taillights are clean with new lenses and seals.

The engine looks quite clean and it runs great!
Dual carb 1776cc that motors along quite nice.

Weber carbs

12 volt electrics with alternator,
Nice stout carb linkage, 009 distributor, etc.
Very good runner and driver!

In closing this is a clean car.
I like what I am seeing underneath...looks very solid under there.
The recently rebuilt mechanicals are abig bonus, disc brakes and sway bars are great upgrades for safety and handling.
Everything really looks fresh and clean with the car and obviously a lot of time and money was spent on it.
Keeping all that in mind I think this is a very good value for the money indeed!
