1956 VW Beetle Sedan For Sale

I spend my days looking at photos of VWs...it's pretty much my thing.
Peple send me photos, I take my own, I scan the ads out there...images
of VWs
are a constant high level input item for my grey matter...I have seen a
ton of them!
No matter how many I have seen...now and then one stands out as beng
pretty special.
This is one of those cars.

First of all it is an Oval window which we all love dearly.
It is ncely restored, as many are, but the difference is the level of
restraint when it comes
to the accessories, and the level of detail when it comes to the
important bits.

Stock and proper 36 horse engine...very clean.

Looks very tidy and showroom in here without being over the top...the
tins are painted the proper low gloss
no overy polished parts...just simple and honest they way they were
from new.

The detail underneath is more of the same.
Not too glossy...just right.

Clean enough for you?

Fender wells painted nicely.'

Factory spot welds all visable as they should be.

Proper split case transmission.

Can you understand why I am excited about this car?

Opened up and ready for inspection.

Interior is gorgeous...great color combination.

Showroom clean.

Accessory coat hanger bar across the roof is a very cool and hard to
find trinket.

51,000 miles on the odometer...this is thought to be the original
mileage on the car.
Nice Dehne fuel gauge.

Steering wheel is nicely restored...dash is very clean and proper.

Under dash parcel tray...German carpets.

Car is registered as a 1957 model, but was built in 1956.

More pretty underside shots.

Full rotisserie restoration was completed
in 1998. The car has been properly stored and minimally driven
and save for a few tiny flaws, is as nice as they come.

Trunk area is spotless.

Latches are clean...everything works properly.

Clean wiring harness.

Love the look of an Oval...the bullet front signals...dreamy.

My favorite part of this car?
The blackwall tires.
It dulls it down a little perhaps but it is refreshing to see a car
restored with them.
Whitewalls were an option back in the 50's, they all didnt come with
them!

Stunning from all angles!

Wow!

The color is actually Chrysler Aero Silver, but is very close to an
original VW color of the era.
It looks very correct.

Car is located in Arizona.
Clean title and all the proper papers.

Ohhhh vall... yummy!

Wolfsburg crest...stunning paint.

Small paint chip touched up on the door.

Small chip in the glass.

Another itty bitty scratch.

A little scratch here too.

Assist straps and proper hooks.

Domelight is functional and is a proper original!

Headliner is excellent.

Nice detail in the jams.

Engine was fully rebuilt at the time of the restoration...an unstamped
case was used.

Runs excellent.

In closing this car is really superb.
Great car through and through with a wonderful attention to detail and
definite museum quality workmanship.
Its won awards at the major Arizona shows and there is no wonder why.
Fantastic!
