1970 VW Deluxe Bus For Sale
This Texas based 1970 Deluxe model Bus is a pretty cool ride.
Very solid and original for the most part
and nearly 10K invested in it for a new engine less than 10k miles ago.
Its got some mild patina going on but I think a good buff and detail will bring things
back up a notch. The body looks quite straight and solid and is a great color combo.
Recent tires are evident as the blue protective coating is still on the whitewalls
Quite the vast variety of stickers in the windows.

Very good running rebuilt engine with
roughly 10k miles on it since the rebuild and the receipts for the work are included.
Nearly $9000 spent on the engine alone, not to mention other work on the Bus
during the current owner's time with the Bus.
New battery in place
Nose looks great
Roof and rain gutters look wonderful
Plug under the taillight for trailer lights I assume
Drivers door has a kink to the forward edge, perhaps over extended at some point.
New tires, recent brake work, new ball joints and more.
Runs and drives good according to the owner.

A bit of surface rust inside the window at the leading edge of the dash
No center seat, but it has the rear and the factory front walk through seating
Deluxe door panels with the armrest/vent system intact
Just over 60k miles on the odometer
Needle on the speedometer has fallen loose.
Under the mat out back the floors look very solid and original
Original interior panels are here, rear seat has some rips in the material
Under dash and whole interior appear to be original paint
Passenger side armrest/vent does have a crack in it.
Front seats are in poor shape and could use recovering

Looks like a very solid original survivor from these pics.
A bit of surface rust on spots underneath but I don't see anything scary in these pics.
This is a great Bus for someone that wants a great driver
and something they can put some love and attention into over time.
A good detail, some minor paint touch up and such outside,
maybe some new seat covers inside...build this one up any way you choose.
Its a fantastic basis to start with and with the significant funds put into it
to make it a reliable runner, it has a long life ahead of it.
