Oh my this is a pretty one!!
Located in the high desert of Southern California, this black 56 sedan is
a very clean machine.
Done totally stock and in a great black exterior with red interior.
Wonderful wide whitewalls and just a few cool accessories.
Beautiful car that is an excellent runner and driver.
Still all stock engine with with the proper 36 horse out back, still all
6 volt electrics.
Just beautiful!
The underside of the car is very clean as well and the car overall is very
solid.
There is one spot underneath that has a bit of rust damage (which I will
show you in a moment)
But for the most part it is awesome under here!
Floorpans are superb.
Very smooth and well finished.
Now here is the one rust spot...just above the jack point
on the drivers side.
You can see this short section of metal here is just a little crusty.
The owner didnt want to hide it...it is what it is.
This is not a massive job to repair and once it was done the car is pretty
well perfect under here.
As you can see...the car is very clean underneath!
The original 36 horse engine runs fantastic and is totally stock.
The material on the firewall is coming a bit loose.
Wiring is clean
Still the correct vacuum advance distributor.
The air cleaner has been stripped to bare metal...should be painted black.
Underside of the engine is very clean and dry.
Rear suspension is nice...no big build up of grease or grime
Looks sweet!!
Quite tidy underneath dont you think?
Fender wells all look solid

All very fresh and pretty inside.
Outside it is stunning as well...I love the Denman wide whites on the two
tone painted wheels.

Inside it has the accessory passenger side visor
Door panels have the proper trim and armrest
Ashtray out back
Rear window blinds are a great looking accessory.
Speedometer has been restored, dash is excellent, steering wheel too.
Good early front fenders with the right flare to meet the running board.
Gravel guards on the leading edge of the rear fenders look nice.
Wolfsburg crest on the hood.
Headlights are beautiful
Bullet front turn signals are a classic Oval era attribute.
So cool.

Back to the inside...
The under dash parcel tray look nice as do the coco mats and little drink
caddy.
The Motorola "Big M" radio in the dash is period correct and looks great!
Speedo was completely restored, needle replaced with a new one so it is sparkly
clear as they were when new.
Handles and pocket
Wiper detail...this car is very clean in the nooks and crannies!
Window rubber is all excellent
Such a great combination, the red against the black with the oatmeat carpet
and details.
Very cleanly detailed.
Proper 56-61 taillights
Wonderful car and the owner has it priced at a very realistic level.
Pretty!
In closing this seems like a great car for the money.
It is very clean and well done inside and out and it is a good runner and
driver as well.
Really only the one small rust spot below knock it down a half a peg in my
book, but this is an area you could have repaired
and you would never know it was there. Nice car...nice price (and that
cactus behind it is really nice too!)
