1959 VW European Ragtop Beetle Sedan For Sale
This drop dead gorgeous restored 1959 sunroof Beetle
was originally delivered in Europe and has the semaphore turn signals
and blade style bumpers that the US spec models did not have.
The car was completely and professionally restored by a very well respected shop
in California and has been driven sparingly and garaged in Southern California since.
It remains in truly spectacular condition inside and out.
The engine was fully rebuilt and tuned with Okrasa dual carb set and all the trimmings
Excellent fit and finish and it just looks fantastic and runs just as nice.
The restoration was extensive...all the way down to every nut and bolt.
Factory sunroof
Started out as a good straight solid car with minimal body issues.
Factory semaphores.
The rear aprod had been changed to a later style at some point prior to the restoration
but the restoration shop knew better than to just roll with it, they sourced a correct "H" pattern unit to replace.
Paintwork was extensive and all into the deep corners and details to insure a top level result
and long life.
So fun to see them in this state...its all the fun stuff of reassembly from here!
The chassis too was fully restored and all mechanics rebuilt.

Gorgeous finish and when that trim starts going on it really gets fun.

Everywhere you look she is spotless.
This was a very extensive and very expensive restoration, no holds barred...done to be as nice as it can be.
