Super Cherry 1960 Cal Look VW Beetle Sedan For Sale

SOLD!

This is a really cherry, very well done mild custom Beetle that is located in Southern California.
Really clean inside and out, every nut and bolt attended to and all of it very fresh with only a few hunderd miles since completion.

The color is great on this...a very dark greenish grey...paint quality is very good
and the fit and finish is excellent.
This was built by a guy that knows these cars very well and is skilled with the process.
This is not some backyard quickie build.
If you like real quality...this is a car to consider.

Very classic "Resto Cal" look to the car.
Only modification being the shaved turn signals, horn grilles and exhaust cut outs.
Body trim is all present, everything done nice. If you ever had the desire to go back to stock, it could be done pretty easily.

But stock is not the point of a car like this.
The attraction is that it has the stock, classic vibe to it, but it is built to modern standards
and with all the benefits of big horsepower and modern braking.
This is a car that will get out of it's own way...and leave the pack behind!

It is done mildly though...not a super hyper drag car, not a wild color show car,
it is in my opinion, the way to go if you want a bit of a hot rod.

There are some nice little details and special touches on this car that I think catch the eye when you see them.
I will point out the cool little special details as we move along.

kicks the lid up just enough to clear the velocity stacks on the carbs.

The big fat meats on the back tuck in nice and tight.

Really a nice detail I think...it sure beats the smooth Cal Look rubber that can look so fat at times.

Really a nice car inside and out.
It may not be the "best in the world" in the show crowd, but it will hold it's own.
The car did trophy in it's class at the 2011 VW Classic which is really a massive bit of competition!

In closing, a very nice professional quality car with great mild style and some serious performance tucked out back.
Its impressive.
