Looking for a great deal on an old VW...well this is it!
Thic Southern California based 1964 Sedan is clean and solid and has a lot going for it and all for a very good price.
The body is very straight and sound and the paint is nice.
The original bumpers have been removed and replaced with the classic Cal Look T bars.
Black California plates.
Stock wheels and caps (with trim rings)
Slightly lowered in the front.
Stock height at the back
This is a nice car that could either be put back to stock with very little effort
or take it further down the custom route with wheels and a performance engine.
The car has always been in California and has the original owners manual and records to prove it!

Very solid and untouched underneath
Looks like reasonably recent shocks
A little grime under the motor but no serious leaks.
Same with the transmission.
Chassis is extremely solid on this car.
Adjustable front beam.
Interior is clean as well...rear seat done in velour
Front seats are modern aftermarket sport seats in nice condition.
Small steering wheel.
Odometer reads 47770 miles
Door panels were replaced not long ago.
There are some driving lights hidden behind the horn grilles I think...
Body trim is clean.
Aprons look very good.
Fat tip exhaust gives it a little beefier exhaust note.
Very nice driver just as it is.
And a great "canvas" on which to modify it a little and really make it feel "yours".

Under the front hood is pretty basic with original paint .
Headliner is nice
Rear speaker deck behind the back seat.
Dash is very clean and un-altered.
I like seeing the radio block off plate and trim in the dash.
Funky looking shifter...not sure what is up with that.
Engine is a good running stock 1600cc dual port.
Converted to 12 volt electric.
Owner states that it is a very good runner and driver.
Go either way with it, or leave it as is!
I think I might swap the wheels for some BRM's or something like that and just drive the wheels off it!
Nice paint, great body, known history and a good runner...and it is priced right!
A lot of promise with this one... Im liking it quite a bit.
Love the color and the smooth body and for the price of admission it is one heck of a good show!
