1974 VW Beetle Convertible For Sale

The spectacular Georgia based peach is ready for so serious summer fun.

So pretty!!

Being a 74 model, it is a Super Beetle under the skin with the strut front suspension
and the curved windshield introduced in 1973,

Beautiful quality restoration here, this car shows very well.

Nice attention to detail everywhere you look.
The Karmann body badge is present,
There is a lot of mis-information out there on the web about the Karmann tag,
it does not signify any sort of special edition or anything, in fact all air cooled convertible Beetles have
a variation of this badge. Karmann built the bodies of these cars and final assembly
happened at the Karmann plant near Osnabruck Germany, not on the other VW assembly lines.
Its a neat back story, but the presence of the badge is not something special...they ALL got it.

The level of detail of the restoration is really nice...check out the behind the gas door shot...spotless!

The car is not without flaw, this small ding on the front apron being one small boo boo..

But everything else just really looks sweet

Under the battery seems very clean and solid

The underside of the car looks great as well...check out the reflection in the paint on the support rail here!
Wow!

Very solid and clean underneath

All clean and fresh

Engine seems very dry underneath

Looks like those running boards are genuine VW parts too...I still see the sticker!

A very full and complete restoration

Floors are super solid

Pretty dreamy underneath in my opinion.

Interior is all fresh and clean as well

Small crack in the dash..

Production sticker still in the door jam and by the looks of the color beneath the
perforated numbers on the sticker, the car was orange in color when it rolled off the assembly line.

Carpets in great shape

Door panels look wonderful

Super clean in all the corners

Picture you and your family and friends in these seats with the top down on a nice summer day!

Front seats are really nice buckets with a great look and excellent support.
A nice tasteful upgrade over the factory seating.

Wow this is nice!

Polished American Eagle 8 spoke aluminum wheels look great and are wrapped with nice tires.

Its a Volkswagen (in case you forgot LOL)

Bumpers look amazing...car shows very very well.

The top is superb as well...black canvas looks amazing against the body color

Window and top seals are all in good shape

Bumpers have the correct rubber impact trips and plastic end caps

The happy owner with his baby.
Adult owned and very well cared for during his ownership over the past couple years.

Can you imagine a nicer one than this?

Anyway, back to the details...top seals, headliner, all of it looks great.

The odometer on the car is not working, so the true mileage on the car is not documented.
The current owner bought the car restored as you see it and has just carefully kept and maintained it.
Prior to the restoration...the mileage is anyone's guess.

Dash looks beautiful Modern audio in the dash but original steering wheel and instrumentation

Very nice fitting top!

1600cc dual port engine out back runs well and is very clean.

Some slight dress up such as the chrome engine tins and aluminum crank pulley.

Super clean engine room and nice clean paint under the lids

Looks like one of the tweeter pipes is slipping a hair...check those clamps!

Under the front hood is super clean as well

Really this is a super nice car...even in the spots that most folks will never look...it appears super clean.

Its smiling at you!

It looks soo yummy I wanna lick it!!
Ok...maybe that is a bit too far, but if you dont see the beauty in this Beetle you need to get your eyes checked!

In closing...well...this is one sweet Super Beetle!
I imagine it will find a loving home quickly at the asking price.
You sure couldn't restore one to this level for the price...this one is a no brainer!
