Really a pretty car...and the background is pretty nice too eh?
Great car...lowered just slightly...very useable.
The owner has put a lot of time and money into it to make it a truly
delightful driver.
Its a car that retains a nice air of originality as well...not
something that was ever pulled all apart
and patched together...this is a very very solid honest example
underneath.
Nothing quite like a clean convertible Beetle.
And this one is subtle and proper...not whored up with bright colors or
flashy chrome gee-gaws.
The top boot in matching black canvas looks great.
Front and rear gravel guards on the fenders are the only accessories.
The Empi 5 spoke wheels with black centers look classy and cool.
Tires are excellent.
The car has had only one respray in the original color.
Body is super straight and solid.
Paint is clean and attractive but is not perfect.
Clean Arizona title.
Top boot is very nice.
The stayfast canvas top is new and is very well fit.
This is one of the most expensive bits on a convertible and this one
was done extremely well.
Top, padding and headliner are new and very well done.
Original rear bumper...working back up lights are there.
Chrome is very good.
Small ding in the rear bumper
The ceramic coated performance exhaust is visable here...very nice.
Front bumper is not original but is in excellent condition.
Body and paint are very nice on this car.
Best of all it is , and always has been...a good solid car.
Great panel fit and all German sheet metal.
Karmann body badge
Wheels and tires are like new.
Nice Yokohama rubber on the back!
This car is a "good one" and with so many of these being used and
aboused and rebuilt from near scrap..
finding one that is truly a good solid original car like this is a rare
opportunity.
Very well fit canvas top was a very expensive endeavor...owner spent
almost $5k on it!
But it is superb!
The owner has provided a huge pile of photos here which is great, and
he has spared no expense in making the car
the best it can be. He has provided a lot of back up for the car and
what has been done.
On another positive note, we have a very good friend locally here in So
Cal that has gone to inspect this car up close.
This is a gentleman that has been in the VW industry for many many
years and knows VWs better than most anyone
and he has a special interest in 67 model Beetles. His report on the
car was that it was really fantastic.
Clean under the engine lid
Nice fit and finish to all panels
Top works smoothly and looks great.
Interior panels are very nice.
Very clean interior...seats are excellent.
Dash is totally stock with the exception of a modern (yet vintage
style) radio.
This vintage style radio is great...you get modern sound without
hacking the dashboard.
The owner has an original Blaupunkt radio to go with it by the way...
The interior has been freshly done with TMI materials.
Seats and door panels are new.
Nice dash and wheel
Steering wheel has a well fit cover. Shifter is the classic "Trigger"
by Empi
Very clean
Nice instrument package in the glove box.

Fantastic driver!
A lot of money in this engine right here...and well spent.
This one is as nice of a driver as they come.
Nice bit of extra horsepower over stock without being too wild or
temperamental.
No expense was spared in putting it all together and the work was all
done less than 1000 miles ago!
Disc brakes up front are a nice add on.
The ceramic coated exhaust is awesome!
Ceramic coated heater boxes and those stainless braided lines...yummy.
A1 exhaust...the best of the best
Super clean everywhere!
No rust or bondo in this one...it is a very good car underneath it all.
Super solid floor plans and support rails, which is quite rare in a
60's Convertible
Super clean in the door jams.
The front and rear sway bars make it handle very well.
This car is a wonderful driver!
New wide 5 "5-Spoke" wheels in black with chrome lugs.
Stock drum brakes on the back.
195/65 15 tires on the rear and 145/15 up front...classic "big and
little" combination.
Front trunk area looks clean
This is one heck of a car for the money.
OK...there are a few chips and scratches here and there... like this
one on the driver's rear fender.
Here are a couple small ones on the passenger front fender.
Some marks down low on passenger front fender.
Drivers rear fender a little split in the paint from a rock thrown up
from the wheel.
In closing this is a very nice car.
It is a super straight and solid example which give you a fantastic
basis under it all, and with the new top and interior
and the fresh performance drivetrain, this is a car that you can really
hop in and enjoy for years to come.
And with the new top, interior and mechnicals...it is really a great
buy for the asking price.
