1974 VW Riviera Camper and Trailer For Sale
SOLD!!

Here is a really fantastic VW Camper that is just loaded with cool
stuff including a matching vintage trailer!

This is a great Bus for adventure...the owner of it has enjoyed it
greatly but it is time to see it off to a new home.

The only way to travel!

The Bus itself is a very nice and super solid original example.
It has been repainted once in the original color, a very high quality
job, and it shows very well.

More importantly, what is under the paint is super solid...this is not
a Bus that has been patched together.
It has a very solid history with documentation and has always been
treated well

Fully loaded and really sharp.

I love to see a VW with history...and this one has a lot of it.
Aloing with the sale is the full stack of original manuals and records.

Owners manual

Trailer information

Service books with stamps...the Bus has spent it's whole life in
Washington state
(with occasional trips here and there)

Original radio manual

The original application for title when sold new!

All sorts of goodies related to the original camping gear

This is the original selling dealer

All told the Camper has just shy of 154,000 original miles since new.

I love that dealer pouch to hold the manual and such.

Movable jump seat inside has storage underneath

Under dah area is very clean...all original finish in here

Walk thru mat

Here is the "money shot" for me...check out how nice and solid those
floors are!!
And original paint under the mats here...this is seriously solid stuff.

Jams and latches are all very clean...door seals look fresh

Nice original stuff in here...very clean

Headliner looks nice

Very clean

Front seats do have covers on them and the headrests look like later
model stuff to me perhaps?

Underneath it is totally dry and untouched.

Wow!

There are perhaps a couple stone chips on the front, but no major
damage anywhere...the vehicle is well cared for and stored
properly...it remains very clean outside and in.

The cool Sears Allstate single wheel trailer is super slick.
Light weight and easy to drive with...it is attached to the bumper
so there is no chance of it getting all sideways when you try to back up
the wheel just swivels underneath it and follows you wherever you want
to go.

It is currently set up to hold the owners bicycles and it is perfect
for that.

Vintage lighting on the trailer is real slick as well

Original key fob from the selling dealer

Love this!

Dome light

Fuel cap

The original mesh on the opo up top does have a slight rip

Nice paintwork on the trailer

Detail of the trailer mount...easy to pull on and off and the trailer
can be stored on end so it takes up very little space in the garage.

The interior in back is all original and is very clean indeed.

Nice full width bed in this model...a big benefit comfort wise!
Flips up into a nice bench seat for driving.

Up top is another bed...again quite wide.

Very nice original material on the cushion here

The box with the plaid material is the little jump seat that adds
another seating position or a handy outside seat.
Sink and stove are at the front.

The elevating roof on the Riviera pops straight up, rather than angled
like the Westfalia.

Front mounted spare tire gives more room in the back

Beautiful

The lights on the trailer are not originals but look fantastic on it.

I love the "STOP" light

And it is registered!

Along with the Bus comes this bolt on trailer hitch for a more
traditional trailer.

Here is a detail shot of the wheel and tire on the trailer.

And another shot of the mounting spots.

Original door panels inside look nice!

Original radio

Tire pressure decal still in place

53,992 miles on the odometer at the time of these photos.
It has turned over once.

Jump seat

Dash looks great!

A little wear to the steering wheel as you would expect, but still nice
and clean

Little fold up table on the side of the fridge

Original decal for the Formica laminate.

Coleman brand cooktop!

Very clean!

And the top closed down on top of it keeps it nice when not in use as
well as provides a heat shield
for the front seat.

Fold up table on the center side of the ice box...check out the storage
shelves under it as well.

Nice

Check out the sink and mirror!

Original fridge

Sweet!

Original ID badges on the side.

Original camping hook ups

Propane tank underneath

Engine access fron the top.

Power inverter.

The original engine runs wonderful. The compression is good on all
cylinders and it has been a reliable machine for it's owner for quite
some time.
Really a good driver.

Some more interior shots so you can see the layout of things.

Oh sure...the Westfalias are nice...but check out how well all of this
flows.
Without the tall cabinets and such, visibility is excellent
and the ability to have the full width bed as well as the sleeping
quarters up top make it really awesome!

Nice Camper!

This could be you!
There is really nothing quite like travelling in a vehicle like this.
The fun, the friendship, the adventure...it is no wonder these VW
Campers are in such high demand these days.
And finding one this clean is a special opportunity...dont miss it!
