1967 VW Beetle Sedan For Sale

This is Blue Belle.
She is a 1967 Beetle that rolled off the assembly line in late November 1966 and came to California.
A Southern California car her whole live, she has always been a well loved and treasured member
of her families and has spent a life indoors and showered with accessories and custom touches.

The car sold off our website five years ago to a gentleman in Colorado.
Life got in the way quickly after that and he never got to enjoy the car as planned.
Its been kept running and occasionally taken around the block
but he never got around to registering the car and has only put a handful of miles on it.

The photos in the listing here are a mix of the pics taken here at Oldbug in 2020
and the handful of pics you will see next are of the car in Colorado.

As you can see in the shots above it looks the same as in the detailed pics you will see below
but its been a few years between the two photo shoots.
The car has been stored under a car port and out of the weather, as well as remaining
in the dry Colorado climate...but please keep in mind the time difference
and verify as you like with the seller before making the buy to make sure there are no surprises.

So...on to the detailed pics that we shot here at Oldbug in the ad from 2020.

Its one of the most intriguing mild custom VWs I have come across in quite a while as it represents
a level of ownership and personal touch of the 70's that has rarely survived to this day.

The VW has always been a car that owners love to "make their own" and despite what the
magazines and car shows celebrate, not every "custom" Beetle was lowered on BRM wheels
and given the "Cal Look". In fact I will say that that look was a rarity in the day, although it does seem that
it is what is most celebrated as time has gone on.

Blue Belle as a result stands out in the pack, not only for her proud suspension height
but for her condition and unique detail that always draws a compliment.

The most unique attribute is of course the vinyl top.
Vinyl tops on American cars were extremely popular in the 70's in the US and on a Beetle it gives the
car a whole new look.  Adds a little bit of formality, makes the car seem even more "deluxe"
and its condition is fantastic.

Chrome slotted wheels, wider than factory and wrapped with thin whitewall tires
also brings it up a notch when it comes to the "bling factor"

The detailed pinstriping and healthy level of period accessories all add to the package.

Headlight eyebrows, chrome hood handle trim

Such a fun car!

Pop out quarter windows, rear vent aluminum trim.

Front and rear gravel guards,

There are a few small flaws in the paint and body that could be attended to to make Blue Belle even more spectacular.
She is a survivor, a well kept original, not a restoration.
Some paint chips along the drivers front fender edge as an example.

Small crack in the corner of the windshield.
