1966 VW Deluxe Microbus For Sale

This gorgeous Illinois based Bus is something very special.
Restored as a tribute to a family member that had passed, it was painted
in the current color combination and was restored to a very nice level.

More than just a stock restoration though, the custom touches and amazing interior
really set this one out from the masses.

The most unique part of the Bus is the full custom interior.
Built from solid oak with wrap around seating like a limousine
it really is the ultimate cruising vessel for friends and family.

Seat belts throughout as well, and beautifully finished open floor plan.

Up front is done to match and is loaded with neat accessories and details.
The accessory steering wheel with its finger bumps and textured rim
is super cool. Coco mats bring the color of the woodwork forward to the cab.

Carpeted interior as well as sound deadener throughout for a very quiet
and solid feel and sound which is a big improvement over original.

Early 15" slotted Bus wheels with wide whitewall radial tires.

All new door seals, window rubbers and felts. Everything was done.

Fold out side step is a nice addition.

Very welcoming interior and the seat cushions all lift up to gain access
to storage compartments below. The wood is all solid oak by the way.

Its just got that perfect super clean and classy exterior.

And something quite unexpected inside, yet retaining the classic
two tone style..,it all works quite well in my opinion.

This was a bare metal restoration by the way. The Bus was sourced in Arizona
and was a very straight and solid example.

Excellent body and paint with nice reflections down the side and
good panel fit.

Modern LED headlights fitted to the original buckets.
Chrome nose emblem and new aluminum body trim
that is nicely polished and fitted with the color matched filler trim.

Super smooth and straight!

This is a factory Deluxe model as well, and a German Bus , not a Brazilian import.

Roof and gutters look awesome

Spare wheel tucked behind the seat
