1957 VW Beetle For Sale
This clean driver Oval Beetle is located in the fine state of Nebraska
and has been in the hands of the current owner and lifetime VW nut
since 2024. He purchased it from a fellow collector in Florida.
Clean car inside and out with only very mild changes from factory specs.
1957 was the final year for the Oval window.
From 58 forward the rear window got much larger and more square
forever altering the beautiful back ends of the early cars.
Under the lid resides a stock 36hp engine, still 6 volt electrics as original.
The seller states that it is a great runner, fires right off every time and with the
manual choke even the coldest days are not an issue.
Correct "W" decklid, I like the license plate frame as well.
Proper small glass taillights and US spec over rider bumper.
These "snowflake" glass lens taillights were in use from 1956-1961.
Wide chrome 15" Porsche 356 style wheels with VW hubcaps.
Interior has been upgraded a bit material wise and has been done in a very nice
caramel tan that looks fantastic with the ivory body color.
Interior looks very clean
Leather wrap on the stock steering wheel.
Nice clean dashboard, love the natural fiber floor mats and the bamboo parcel tray.
Seats and frames are very clean.
Door sill and front pillar trims keep the entry way clean
