This is a gorgeous professionally restored 1966 Bus located in Southern California.
Really excellent quality paint and body, wonderful level of detail and fit and finish.
Great color combination, so nice accessories and upgrades, this is a very nice Bus!
Velvet Green is the name of the color and it is truly one of my favorites.
Super smooth bodywork on this Bus...very well done.
The interior is excellent and is done in the correct materials.
The salt and pepper mesh vinyl is the right stuff and looks amazing. New seat belts with the proper Wolfsburg crest logos.
Safari windows and smooth Euro style bumpers.
You can see how straight it is by the reflection down the sides...she is smooth!!
The safari windows are a mega cool-factor addition...there is nothing like
the wind in your face!
Wipers have the spring loaded shaft adaptors so they can be pulled away
when you want to open the safari windows.
This Bus has a very nice canvas sunroof in it!

Headliner is well done!
Steering wheel is wonderfully restored and has the Wolfsburg crest horn button.
Odometer reads 14,000 miles and change
but there are far less than that on it since the completion of the restoration.
We estimate about 3000 miles at most?
All new window rubber and felts and seals...everything is very very clean on this Bus.
Seats look wonderfull...seams are nice and straight and the padding firm.
Nice to see the fire extinguisher in there for safety.
The underside of the Bus look quite nice...not "mirrors underneath it at the concours" nice...but still
very good for a driver. It looks quite solid and is very well sorted.
The side "belly pan" panels were added to mirror what the factory did for factory sunroof models.
Nice touch!
Looking closely in a couple spots you can see that some metal work was done to repair minor rust.
The work was done cleanly and it is a very solid example overall.
Here you can see that the drivers side front floor was repaired.
It was done with the proper metal and looks clean on top and is well sealed underneath.
Door seals and seat stand mats are all new.
Door strikers and hardware are all clean.
I like seeing this level of detail...no overspray on stuff, all the way it should be...very nice work.
Floors from the top side look great.
Dash and controls are all very clean.
Nice!
Original vin tag is present...title is clean and clear.
New visors
Good spot for auxilary instruments...in the fresh air box.
If you ever wanted to go back to "stock" you could just replace the panel.
Safari window hardware all clean and proper.
Mirror looks nice and is finished in white.
Speakers for the stereo are mounted under the dash.
Modern head unit with CD player and iPod hook up.
Very fun to have a soundtrack rolling when you are cruising along!

The sunroof is awesome!
This is not an original sunroof to this Bus, but it is of very high quality and the fit is excellent.
The top material is a green stayfact canvas (like the top material for Mercedes) and it looks wonderful on the Bus.
So nice to have the big sunroof!
As you can see on the inside it looks great too...very well done installation of this.

Engine is a mild performance unit with 1835cc.
It runs excellent and keeps up well with modern traffic!
Dual Weber carbs.
Very clean and it runs great!
12 volt electrics of course.
Inside the drivers side rear corner there appears to have been a bit of bodywork done...metal is not super smooth in this spot.
Battery area looks solid and clean.
Nice set up though...not a "hot rod", just a bit beefier than stock but still with excellent reliability.
"One eyed duck" wiper holder
No splash pan under the controls, but everything looks solid and proper under here.
Tires are fantastic vintage design with the thin whitewall.
Wheels are very cleanly finished and topped off with big logo hubcaps that are detail painted to match.
The bodywork on this Bus is wonderful...so smooth!!
It is rare to find one this staright down the side!
Under the engine looks good...a tad bit of road grime from driving it...but that is what they are meant to do!
It has been a very reliable runner for the owner and he will not hesitate to hop in and go for a cruise to the coast.

There is a very fat stack of receipts that show all the work that has been done. There is well over
$40,000 in receipts on this Bus, and that does not include the cost of the Bus to start with!
A lot of time and money put into this one and it truly shows.
