1965 VW Beetle For Sale
The paint and body look very nice on the car, and the color, while not
a factory color, sure looks great
on the car and with the tan interior makes for a very attractive and classy
combination.
Good looking machine indeed.
many many new parts were used in the restoration.
New bumpers, new headlights, new trim, running boards, all new window rubber
and body seals
and the list truly goes on and on.
This was not a "quicky" spray and play kind of job like so many
on the market today.
New turn signal housings and lenses.
Roof rack is included in the sale if desired.
Excellent tires on silver painted stock smoothie wheels with new hubcaps.
Running boards are so fresh they still have the blue protective coating
on the trim.
Pop out rear quarter windows are a very desireable accessory that greatly
improves air flow inside on those hot days.
All new and clean under the front hood. Body looks clean and straight in
the spare tire well
and the new trunk liner and wiring cover are a nice touch as well.
The 1200cc engine has been converted to 12 volts, but is otherwise totally
stock and very very clean.
The owner states that it runs as good as it looks and is all freshly done.
Floorpans have been replaced and the whole chassis is clean and well done.
Brakes and transmission have also been rebuilt, new trans mounts too...clean
stuff eh?
Floor pan sections have been nicely replaced and sealed at the edges.
Heater channels show signs of repair as well, all of it done well.
This was not built to be shown with mirrors underneath it or anything,
but for a driver this looks really clean.
The interior of the car is all fresh as well and the color combo looks
great.
Steering wheel has been painted body color which is pretty cool.
New door panels, new carpet
Clean dash and instrumentation.
Headliner is all new and clean, dome light even works!
In closing this seems like a very good car for the money.
It obviously looks like a million bucks, and with all the fresh mechanicals
as well, it is a bargain.
The hardcore collector may pass on it for the minor diversions from pure
original, but for someone
wanting a really clean stock Beetle to drive and show now and then...pretty
hard to beat what Im seeing right here.
