1965 VW Beetle Sedan For Sale
Oh I love em when they are like this!
Faded original paint with some real character and that great "Im still going" look!
This car is awesome...the color is Bahama blue and it is original paint.
There are a few spots that have been touched up in spots, like this front fender towards the front
but the car has that "vibe" to it that you just can not get with a restored example.
It shows it's age and has character ...the drivers side door was replaced
many many years ago and was never painted to match...it has its battle scars and yet it still stands proud.
The interior of the car was redone at some point years ago and it matches the outside beautifully
in color as well as patina.
I like the bamboo parcel tray...and the original rubber mats
Dash is all original and un-hacked.
Door panels were done in a great two tone
Seat has its splits and a stitch job to hold it together.
It looks cool and is functional and comfy.
The whitewalls and the faded old wood slat roof rack dress it up a bit

This car could be a movie star like this...dont you think?
Just enough of a unique look that everybody will know it is you.

The current owner has had it for many years and recently moved to Northern San Diego area
from Oregon. He is attached to the car but could use the funds to get settled here and get things rolling.
There is something very fashionable these days about proper fade and patina.
I compare this to perfectly worn in blue jeans...perhaps a hole in the knee and the bottoms all fringed out a bit.
They are so comfortable that you love wearing them and in a very "non fashion" way...they are fashionable.
Old cars have taken on the same attributes in the scene over the past 5 years and people are searching out
cars that have that look. It makes a car special and unique and it tells a story...you can see the history.
Restore and repaint the car and that is gone forever.
The roof rack has a great equal fade to it as the rest of the car.
The dreamy part about this one is that it is just so impressively solid.
A lot of these old "beater-look" cars are really beat and have all sorts of sins underneath.
This one is really solid!

It was idling away as I shot these photos and it just sung such a sweet song... seriously it just sounded so smooth
and awesome. It is fully sorted out and is a relaible and enjoyable driver just as it is.
A couple of the fenders must have had bigger dents that were pounded back out and were touched up.
These dont detract from the look of the car in my opinion...they add to it a bit.
Tires are excellent and are fitted with whitewall trims.
Body is really quite straight.

There are a couple spots under the hood with squirts of black paint for some reason.
The areas look straight, so I see no reason for it...but they are here.
It does look like maybe the front apron was replaced at one point...so maybe it was done when that happened.

I love seeing the original radios and no extra holes or silly stuff.

In closing this is a neat car. It is a nice and solid hinest Beetle that has a very consistant wear and patina to it that
is still attractive and approachable...it does not look like a crap pile that was put back on the road...it is a car that
has always been on the road and still looks cared for...even though it has it's age marks.
Great runner, great year, great color.
