Amazing survivor 1965 VW Beetle For Sale

Third owner California car, all original paint...a virgin machine through and through.

Some minor paint wear but this is all original finish and that  is a HUGE up-side for this car.
It is a time warp find and I think anyone who steps up and makes this theirs will be very pleased.

Black California plates, original bumpers, original everything...no wrecks, no rust
This is the sort of dream car we all want to find.

I discovered this one at a VW event and the owner had it on a trailer.
He left the show a bit early as he had to get somewhere, so we didnt have time to pull it
off the trailer for proper photos...so accept my apologies on that.

A little pitting on the chrome on the mirror...but again...all original stuff here.

Original fender beading and running boards...impressive.

Excellent tires on stock two tone wheels.

Headliner and carpet show a little age, but are still very intact.

Rear seat upholstery is original and impressive.

Window rubbers and seals still have some flex to them.
This was obviously not a car that spent it's life in the hot sun...it has been garaged.

Dash is excellent, steering wheel has a few marks, but thats the way it should be in my opinion.

Original VW logo keys work all the things they should work.

A couple scuffs here and there...badges of honor!

The underside is amazingly clean.
There is a mount for an Empi camber compensator, but the bar is gone.
Car runs and drives fantastic.

The engine was rebuilt less than 3000 miles ago (with receipts)
and it is super clean and tidy.

Floorpans are phenomenally solid and straight!!

No taps or bumps to the front end...look at this!

Very solid in the right spots.

I absolutely love seeing the original runningboard rubber in place...so cool!

Wow!

Look how nice the original front plate is!

Under the front hood it gets even better...
More on this shortly.

Headlights are clean and proper.

Horn grille still has the block off plate on the passenger side.

Check out how bright and clean the original hood latch is!!

Inmside the spare tire well...dreamy.

This is the spot that really blew me away...there is almost ALWAYS some brake fluid spillage
that messes up the paint under the resevoir...but not on this car!!!

Original jack is in the holder.

Paint code stickers and pressure sticker on the washer bottle.

Original trunk liner and wiring cover are still present...some minor cracks...but WOW!

Amazingly clean under the hood!

Everything closes and shuts tight the way it should.

Check out the bumper stiffeners and just how clean everything is up here.

Original gravel guards.

Nice!

As the years pass by, these all original untouched cars are getting harder and harder to find.
It is a serious rarity to come across one this nice these days.

Original door panels...even the pocket is nice and tight.

Headliner shows some discoloration, but being all original makes it something you would not want to change.
(or at least something I would never change!!)

Excellent!

OK...now the front seats have some old school covers on them.
The owner has not attempted to remove them to see what is underneath...a bit of a mystery here
but seeing how nice everything else is...there just might be decent original upholstery under there!

The drivers side rear fender has a couple dings and some light wear through to the finish...

SOLID SOLID SOLID!!

The engine compartment is nearly spotless!
And the original engine was fully rebuilt less than 3000 miles ago.
Really sweet and clean here!!

In closing this is one of those cars that makes you stop and stare...and the more you look, the more you like.
With so many beat up and poorly restored examples out there in the world...when you come across a car like this.,
it just makes you weak in the knees.
Buy it fast so I dont do something silly and sell my children or mortgage the house and add it to my stable!!
A rare find and a very reasonable price!
