1965 VW Beetle Convertible For Sale
This So Cal based VW Beetle convertible looks like a very fun car.
Restored a few years back it still looks great with minimal wear.
A solid runner and driver that brings a smile wherever it goes.
Great color combination and with the chrome Porsche 356 wheels and caps
it gives it just a bit of
a sporting appearance.
The car was cleanly done and the signs of age it shows now are minimal.
A small scratch on one fender, a little scuff on the apron up front
down very low and a few chips and such
but nothing that would require any immediate attention.
When the paint was done, it was stripped down to a shell, looks like
all fresh clean wiring.
Door jams are pretty clean
Modern audio system with amps and a subwoofer back behind the seat.
Cleanly trimmed
Dash is bery nice and clean.
Wood rim Nardi wheel is a nice touch.
Headliner in good shape
Tan canvas top plays off the cream body color well.
Very classy looking ride
Top is in really nice shape!!
Underneath the car is reasonably clean, but not show detailed.
Looks quite solid
Colored running board mats
Seats in two tone tan vinyl look very nice indeed and the door panels
are done to match.
Hurst shifter!
Clean install of speakers and I like those cool footsie pedal pads!
Nice!
Top down and ready for a fun summer!
Chrome on the window frames looks excellent.
Top frame was fully restored.
Modern radio hidden in the glove box.
Nice wheel!
All new window and body seals at the time of the restoration.
Inside the front hood there are some clues as to it having some body
work done at one point.
Looks like pretty minor stuff...but it is there and from the outside it
looks as straight as can be.
This side looks excellent
Very straight along the sides in the spare tire well area.
A little lumpy bumpy at the bottom of the apron, but very solid.
Wiring is all fresh and clean
Fluted Euro headlight lenses
Support rails look solid from what I can see here
Pans look good
Engine is pretty clean underneath
1600cc dual port engine runs great!
12 volt electrics.
Tires have great tread but sidewall cracks are starting to appear.
The seller is willing to pop for a new set of tires if the price is
right...so this is a negotiable thing.
Chrome is nice.
Body is straight
In closing this is a nice clean car that is ready for fun.
Well built and well maintained, nice mild upgrades but the classic 60's
details
remain and all in all it is a nice car indeed.
