As time marches forward and these cars get older and older, it sure seems like the
population of really truly all original VWs is dwindling down. Cars get used and abused
and painted and restored, but finding one that is all original and just as it was as it rolled off the assembly line,
yet still in noice condition...is a pretty rare thing.
This orange 74 Beetle is one of those cars,
The car is located in New Jersey and has just over 59k original miles.
Never wrecked, never rusted, just well maintained and kept in great shape.
The paint still holds a nice shine, the chrome is bright and everything is as it should be.
The car spent it's early years in Idaho.

The underside is totally solid and rust free and has never had any rust repair needed or done.
Factory undercoating still holding up well.

Bottoms of the doors are clean as well...finding a Beetle this solid and original on the East Coast is super rare!

Inside the rear deck looks amazing...very clean and not sun-burnt or damaged like most of them out there.

This is a real deal new old stock German muffler too! The good stuff!
All the original equipment is in place on this car...no modifications done at all.
Engine runs like a top and has all the correct 74 parts on it...and all quite clean and dry.

These coco mats have done a fine job of keeping the floors nice.
All stock, all original and still so clean.
Tires are in great shape...wheels are clean, and stock hubcaps in place.
The bumpers front and rear have the correct original rubber impact strips and end caps in place.
The plastic here needs a little cleaning and treating to get wax residue off, but wow...so nice to see it all untouched.
And by the way...note the color matched fender beading..
Look it up folks...in 1974 the cars came with matching beading!

All the original bits are in place.
Great car...well preserved and a true testament to proper car care.
Its not flawless...but it sure is virginal in every way possible.
Love it.
Pretty tough to find them like this...a nice car that has always been a nice car.
