1961/2 VW Bus For Sale
This Texas based VW Bus is a whole lot of fun.
This is a November 1961 production model, registered as a 1961
but obviously has the features of the 1962 model year busses
such as the larger turn signals and taillights.
It is a standard microbus, or "11 window" model that has
been restored and refinished to be the ultimate
tailgating vehicle for the owner's favorite team games.
The graphics are all decals and could of course be removed
but if the new buyer is into the theme it would be a big bonus.
This hit list shows much of the work done to the Bus under current ownership.

Not quite sure what that added brace is for.
Some aging to the finish on the roof, perhaps a little filler cracking and separating

Quad tip exhaust tucked under the rear bumper.
1776cc dual carb engine out back with Kadron carburetors and 12 volt electrics.

Drink caddy on the dash.
Custom shift knob with an image of the Bus on it.
Banjo steering wheel with color matched horn push is super cool
as is the custom detailed speedometer.
Interior looks good, what a very fun place to be.
The owners have had tremendous joy with it supporting the team with countless events behind them.
Time is creeping up though and its getting harder and harder for them to enjoy the drive
and the parties as much, so it has been decided that its time to hand off the keys
to the next generation.
Love the roof rack with the side ladder, the color combo and stuff is great,
even if you are not a fan of the Longhorns this would make a super fun cruiser!
