1968 VW Dune Buggy For Sale
This Oregon based Dune Buggy is a pretty special ride.
The car was completed just about 100 miles ago by its detail oriented owner
and upon completion (and after a hip replacement) he is realizing that the Buggy is a bit
too much for him to drive comfortably.
Its a regrettable sale, but if a new happy owner can be found that will get a lot of joy and fun from the car
all will seem right with the world.
It is obviously no normal cheesy Buggy...it is a very well built car
with a lot of super trick parts and performance drivetrain
that make it one heck of a blast on or off road.
Full roll cage is tied in all the way to the back.
High riding suspension with Fox springs all the way around.
Well fitted custom top for the roll cage
Body is original gel coat, not painted.
It has a slight fade to it, but the trick seems to be to keep it shiny with a coat
of Lemon Pledge (or something similar)
Disc brakes on all four corners
Impressive front end with rack and pinion steering and wider track.
Dual circuit master cylinder, super clean welds and framework.
Chrome star wheels front and back and excellent tires.
Big ol bouncy fat all terrain rubber out back
Porsche CV joints, fresh 6 rib performance transmission with a brand new
Quaife ATB Helical LSD differential
Beautifully done and all like new.
Brand new fully pro built 2275cc balanced engine
Weber 44 Cabs with King Kong filters with washable pre-filters.
12 volt alternator, high torque starter
Oil cooler with electric fan, fuel pressure regulator, billet oil breather with washable filters.
Ceramic coated exhaust with stainless steel silencer
Electronic distributor,
Spin on oil filter and with the oil cooler as well, oil capacity is at 5 quarts
Hydraulic clutch, bomb proof heavy duty trans.
Herculiner coating on the floor pans and inside the tub.
Mega solid and clean.
Awesome custom aluminum fuel tank
Excellent interior with cloth and vinyl seats, Crow 2x2 Y harnesses
Tilt steering column and awesome aluminum billet wheel

Rear seat has belts as well for safety and that full roll cage to keep you all safe.
Its all so clean and so fresh. This is like a "new" Buggy!
Awesome ride and would be a blast on or off road.
The owner I am sure has far far more than the asking price invested
but he is motivated to find it a home soon before an upcoming move.
His loss is your gain!
