1967 VW Single Cab Transporter For Sale

This Southern California based 1967 Single Cab is a great solid and straight
driver quality example that is ready for work or play.

The final year for the split screen model, it has all the subtle details that make it stand out a bit from
its earlier brothers such as the full width rear window and the solid rear corners with intake vents over the wheel arch.

14" wheels are another "late split screen" detail.
This truck has the smooth blade bumpers common on the European models
versus the overriders and big bumper guards on the US spec examples.

The truck is very solid and sound underneath.
There is a bit of surface rust, but no penetration that I can see here.

Jack points and outriggers all look good, rockers are nice and solid as well.

This is a dual treasure chest model, with access doors to the lower compartment on both sides of the truck.

You can see that the lower floor has had some welding at one point, but is now very solid.
The owner states that the truck also had some sheet metal replacement to the front end to repair
accident damage years ago.  As a result of this accident it does have a "salvaged" notation on the title.

Good running 1600cc dual port engine out back.
Mechanically it is a very good truck...turn key and ready to roll.

Front floors look solid

Under bed area

Looks like it has had some repair up here  but remains solid and fairly clean.

I spy a little weld patch under the seat belt mounting point...a very common spot for rust on these vehicles.

Interior shows some age from use but still presentable.
Dash looks clean and un-cut.
Stock steering wheel and controls.

Lots of room for your goodies under here!

Bed and gates seem to be clean and reasonable and overall the truck looks super straight.

The paint does shine, it was just dusty in these images.
A good bath and a coat of wax and she will look amazing.

Stock suspension height, I love the thin whitewall tires.
Its a good looking truck!

This is the perfect combination in my book.
It is clean enough to get thumbs up on the roadway and to be proud of at the local events, but it is not so nice
that you would be afraid to use it (gasp) as the truck it was built to be.
You can do your dump runs and head to the beach, pile the kids bikes in the back, your camping gear
or even be a good friend and help a buddy move.
