1963 Beetle Sedan For Sale
Being and east coast car, it dod have some rust to deal with but the owner
did the work properly and replaced
the floor panls and heater channels beautifully. He took great care during
the restoration to use genuine German
NOS parts wherever possible and wherever not possible he went with the
best quality replacements.
The bumpers are gorgeous reproductions by Wolfsburg West.
Not cheap, but well worth the money.
The headlights are NOS European models.
Excellent smooth bodywork and paint.
NOS original door handles were sourced...a very rare find.
Stainless body trim is a nice touch as well.

Windshield is genuine German Sigla glass.
All the window rubber and body seals were replaced and are in excellent
condition.
The wiper arms and blades were not on the car at the time of th photos
but a pair of beautifully chrome plated originals
are included. Check out the chrome washer squirter nozzle and that super
shiny VW logo!
Glass is all excellent and is the real German stuff.
Another NOS door handle.
The Anthracite grey color is a great choice...very subtle and a bit serious,
but beautiful and classic.
Great wheel and tire choice and a nice stance suspension wise.
These are genuine Porsche alloys, 6" in the rear and 5.5" in
the front.
Tires are excellent.
These wheels were shipped all the way to California to the legendary Al
Reed for polishing!
Note the disc front brakes...more on those shortly!
Porsche bolt pattern spare wheel and tire and a very clean trunk area.
Original fiberboard wiring cover is in amazing shape, trunk liner is very
clean as well.
Hood is straight and clean.
In the spare tire well there are signs of a very soft "push"
at some point in the car's past, so it is not
perfect in there but it is rust free and the hood and fenders fit very
well.
Let get up underneath for a look see.
The owner, being a professional VW mechanic...has access to a lift...much
easier to see what is going on...thanks!
CB Performance dropped spindles and disc brake kit is an awesome choice.
Note the stainless braided brake lines too.
NOS King and Link pins were installed, new tie rod ends, new shocks.
Transmission is a fully rebuilt 1967 12 volt unit from Rancho here in California.
Heater boxes have not been hooked up, but are in place and could be...
New Bosch 12 volt starter, new 1pc axle boots.
New shocks, clean underneath.
Floor pans are new and are well fitted!
Engine is super clean underneath...always well serviced.
Gorgeous polished stainless exhaust from Tiger at A-1 Muffler here in California.
Engine is a very nicely built mild 1641cc unit, very clean and runs excellent.
Here's a detail shot of the motor...check out the Gene Berg oil filler/breather
box, the "Baby Dells" Dellorto Carbs,
powder coated German engine tins, Empi laser etched crank pulley and more.
Everything has been balanced and pro-built...so it's a great runner.
Custom decklid stand off set up keeps the lid open a little at the bottom
for extra air flow.
Pretty sweet ride eh?
The interior is just as clean and attractive and the whole she-bang was
ordered through Wolfsburg West
including the 1pc stock style headliner, gorgeoud "tomato soup"
seats upholstery and two tone panels
and the high quality carpet kit.
Dash is super clean, stock and un-altered.

Very clean under dash and the original style grey floor mats look like
new.
Pretty clean!
Headliner is well fit, grab handle straps are in place and an NOS domelight
even lights the way.
In clsing this really looks like a great car for the money. It is well
built by someone that knows VWs
top quality parts were used during the restoration, and a very nice sense
of style applied to make the car
something that is universally appealing. The owner states that it truly
runs and drives as goood as it looks
and it sure looks good to me!
The owner has just recently found another car that he is really
in love with and as a result he is motivated to sell.
