1962 VW Ragtop Beetle Sedan For Sale
Built in 2004 complete pan off restoration from Kustom Coach Werks "KCW".
This car was built to have the look and feel of a stock Beetle, only with
the capability
of lowering when needed. John Jones and his staff did a wonderful job.
This car has won many awards at local shows and turns lots of heads.
Car has been stored in a climate controlled garage by it's owner in the
state of Ohio
Starting with the first class paint job that "KCW" laid, the
color is Silky Silver
which is a factory Dupont color. The turn signals were removed from the
fenders.
Then "KCW" graphed in Semaphores which turned out great. They
are 12 volt Semaphores.
The Rag top is factory which is in excellent condition.
All the glass is factory with VW logo, however the windshield has been
replaced.
Owner will also will include roof rack in great shape
Very smooth look and with the big 17" wheels and the car in "full
slam" mode, it is quite the eye catcher.
Chrome is excellent, early style taillight installed.
Here's a profile shot of the car all the way down...
And the same angle all the way up.
System is filled with nitrogen and it moves quick.
Here's a close up..."top floor"
Hit the switch and it's "basement" time.
Wheels are from AirKewld. They are Billet Specialties 17x7 on the front,
17x7.5 on the rear.
The tires are Kumho 215/40R 17 on all four. Less than 25 miles on them.
Dang that looks sweet!
The car is well detailed in all the corners.
Cool custom flame work on the fuel tank
Very clean under the hood.
No frills up here other than the flames...but all sanitary.
Nice
Interior is all new as well and is very nicely done in red and black.
Empi GT style wood rim steering wheel, wicker parcel tray, stock radio
and clean dash.
The interior colors really jump out against the silver paintwork.
Empi door pulls on the doors and a locking glove box latch.
The wood rim steering wheel looks very classy.
Empi trigger shifter down there on the floor.
Rear seat ...very nice, seat belts at all positions, headliner done in
grey.
Nitrogen bottle behind the back seat gives the suspension the juice it
needs to do it's thing.
Everything is very sanitary underneat...here you can see the air-ride shock
for the rear.
Front features a KCW narrowed air ride beam and all four corners are equipped
with AirKewld "BAD" Brakes
Cross drilled rotors and Wilwood calipers up front.
Floor pan is very clean and solid
No rust...just clean sheet metal
