This Texas based triple white 79 Convertible is a really sharp and well preserved car.
Very very solid and stock and in wonderful condition.

The car is located in the great state of Texas.
Nice glossy paintwork and very good chrome.

The owner has the original sport steel wheels for the car and they are included in the sale.
The 8 spoke wheels dress it up a bit and the tires are excellent.

The paint is the original color, resprayed just once and the owner believes the mileage on the car is very low.
There is no documentation to back this mileage up, but it is obviously in great shape.

The top shows some age but is not ripped or damaged.
The owner has purchased a new top kit for the car that includes the headliner as well
and this is included in the sale!

Chrome looks great, the proper rubber bump strips are on the bumpers.

Very clean car.

Really a very clean machine.

Nice gloss and a very very straight body.

Like a cute little puppy...dont you just want to pat it on the hood?

Original top boot is included.

Carpet has been replaced as the original material was very dry and starting to come apart.

Door panels and seatcovers have also been replaced.

The original decals in the door jam are in place...everything looks quite clean

Underneath the car is super solid and dry.

Very solid looking floorpans and support rails.
The hoses here are from the original dealer installed A/C system.
The compressor has been removed so it is not functional, but the rest of the equipment is present.

The aluminum 8 spoke wheels look great and the Wolfsburg crest center caps are a very nice touch.

What I like most about this car is just how solid it is underneath.

The suspension bushings have all been replaced and it is quite clean and dry in the important spots

CV boots look good.

Nice and clean under the decklid.

All the original equipment is in place on the engine
The fuel injection system has been recently rebuilt.

The flat plate here is where the original A/C compressor sits.
Modern smaller compressors are out on the market now that are a lot less taxing on the engine
Im not sure...but perhaps this system could be revived and modernized and made to work again?
The original compressor is included in the sale.

Very clean in here though...I like to see that.

Very clean underneath as well!
Looks like the pushrod tubes have been replaced with adjustable ones.

Very dry underneath!

Under the transmission as well

Exhaust looks excellent...muffler is new...the original one has been retained as well.

Muffler is a new replacement...the original German one is included in the sale.

New shocks

All the original equipment is in place.

Floorpan looks great under the battery area as well.
Looks like a little touch up of undercoating was put here to help keep it solid.

Support rails look amazingly solid!

Good solid car.

Karmann body badge

Front brakes have been upgraded to disc units!
Thre original factory drums and brake parts were kept and will be included with the sale.

The disc brakes is a great upgrade...and it looks like the whole front end was rebuilt with the nice
polyurethane bushings and stuff...really great as the original rubber stuff breaks down over time and is almost always sloppy.

Looks like new fuel lines and filter

New brake hoses too

The fan here in this shot is a part of the original A/C system

Very very straight front apron...these are commonly really beat up a bit...this one looks perfect!

More of the original A/C system

The spare wheel and tire is the original factory unit and it has never been mounted on the car or touched the road

The owner has the full set of these wheels that are included in the sale.

Very very solid in the spare tire well.

Super straight!

Original paint code tag

Nice

Under the hood looks awesome.

With the original trunk liner in place.

Vin number tag.

Looks like October 1979 production...right towards the end.
The final German built Beetle Convertible rolled off the assembly line in January.

Glove box looks clean.
Modern stereo installed.
Dash pad look awesome!

All fresh seat upholstery and door panels.

Speakers in the back here...new carpet too.

Chrome looks great, glass as well, seals look good.

Chrome on the window frames look very clean.

One little paint rub on the tip of the license plate light housing.

Lenses look excellent.

Window seals look great!

Speakers mounted up front...cleanly done.

Headliner is still looking decent.

But it has pulled away from the rearward top bow, so it hangs hown a bit when the top is up.

As mentioned before...a brand new top and headliner kit are included with the sale!

Seats look great

Nice little center console

New carpet set installed and some floormats over the top.

Odometer reads 28,470 miles.
The seller believes this to be original to the car, but it is not documented.
You will have to take that up with him and use your own judgement, but it super looks clean...so perhaps it is possible?

Sweet car...and the triple white is the one to have!

In closing this looks to be truly one of the "good ones"
Extremely solid and straight, a whole lot of effort and money put into it recently to make sure it is mechanically sorted and
the new interior is another great bit of icing on the cake.
A good car at a good price.
