This Tennessee based 1970 Beetle Convertible is quite the looker.
It has a lot going for it and shows well.

The car has had a nice "driver quality" restoration done to it and it
catches the eye well.
Up close you can see that it is not perfect, but I guess if it were,
the price would be a lot higher.

Very fun car for the summer!
Someone is really going to have a lot of fun with this one.

Getting down to the dirty bits straight away,
The car was "cosmetically" restored, not taken down to the frame and
built from the ground up,
so the underside remains pretty untouched.

Looks pretty good under the spare tire well

Drivers side floorpan has been replaced.

The replacement was done quickly and looks to have been put in with pop
rivets instead of welding.
It also looks like the support rails have some rust in them.

The pan is solid but that install could be cleaned up and sealed a bit
better if that is something that bothers you.

The underside of the engine looks pretty clean.

Perhaps a slight oil leak on the drivers side above the heater box.

Exhaust has some surface rust but appears solid.

Back out on the shiny side of things...she is a beauty!

Top looks to be in good shape.

The interior has been redone with the basic seat cover and carpet sets
that are available out there.
Looks clean and tidy.

Glove box door has a wood finish.

Very basic AM/FM radio in the dash.

The speedometer recently stopped working and currently the hand brake
is not working either,
The car is a good runner and driver though and the electrics are said
to be good.

Door panels are a bit warped up...

Still quite clean and attractive inside

1600cc dual port engine runs well.
Carburetor looks recent.

The odometer stopped working roughly 50 miles ago or so according to
the owner.
They have not attempted to fix it.

The stock wheels and hubcaps are included in the sale...the new chrome
wheels and tires on the car now have minimal miles.

Karmann body badge is here and in nice shape, the fender beading was
replaced with nice new stuff.

The Mangel chrome wheels look great and the tires are excellent. One
center cap is missing off one of the rear wheels

The running boards have been replaced with stout aluminum versions.

Good looking car

Seat covers are in good shape

Carpet shows a little bit of use and a bit of dirt...but should clean
up well.

In closing this really is a cute little Beetle that will be a great
summer play toy for someone.
It is not a show car, but it is pretty. It needs some little details
and it does have the minor rust and repair issues
down on the underside, but it is totally drivable and useable as is and
those repairs could be handled without having to
disturb the clean cosmetics, which is a really nice bonus.
All things considered this car is priced very reasonable at
$6,750 obo
