1968 VW Beetle Convertible For Sale
This Texas based 68 Convertible is really something special.
It has received a frame up restoration not too long ago and has been driven sparingly
and always garaged since completion.
It is a really attractive mild custom with a great color, very cool interior and functional AIR CONDITIONING!
The color is awesome...looks great on the car, and with the chrome accessories and the polished wheels
it has a very nice look and feel to it.
The interior is beautiful with grey tweed and white vinyl.
Karmann body badge on the quarter panel...paint quality looks very nice.
Very nice attention to detail...look how clean in the door jams and such.
The billet aluminum running boards and matching sill plates are a nice upgrade.
Looks clean in the deep corners too!
Nice fit and finish, the black stayfast canvas top is in excellent condition.
Disc brakes on the front!
Glove box is clean and tidy.
I like the addition of the 12 volt power plug in the glove box for charging your phones and such.
Headliner is superb...nice fit too!
I love the embroidered VW logos on the seats as well...nice touch!
Door panels are done in grey tweed and are stitched in the original pattern.
The car is super solid underneath as well.
Wiring is all good and clean.
The odomter was reset at the time of the restoration and the mileage shown is total since being done...just over 2100 miles!
Front trunk area is nicely carpeted.
Very smooth and straight down the sides.

I also like the modern style steering wheel and the audio system as well.
The car really looks to have been restored to a high level...take a peek behind the carpet in the front trunk and

Wheels and tires are like new, mechanically the car was completely gone through and it is a superb runner and driver.
The sticker on the rear window is the name and number of the restorer...and he sure did a nice job!

Engine has a light layer of dust perhaps but looking past that it truly looks all new.
The A/C compressor is cleanly installed and everything looks right and tight in here.
Nice to see the window rubber in the top with the aluminum trim.
Really a beautiful car inside and out...and the color...LOVE IT!
The car is in excellent shape inside and out as well as underneath. This is something that would be very very hard to replicate for the asking price.
Restorations of this level dont come cheap (or happen fast!)
This one is done and looking fabulous...turn the key and go!!
