A true low mileage original car, all factory equipment from bumper to bumper.
No accidents, no rust, always garaged and just downright gorgeous.

The top was recently redone as the original vinyl had started to shrink a little from age.
It was done in top quality materials including stayfast canvas on the exterior
(a very nice upgrade from the factory vinyl)

Even the window decal. I can speak from experience here, these labels dont last long in the hot California sun.
This one looks just like new...a good bit of evidence pointing to it's originality and the quality of storage during it's life.

These custom wheels were dealer installed when the car was new and are quite rare these days.
You sure dont see them often. I had a Karmann Ghia a few years ago that had them and that's about it.

Original fiberboard trunk liner still looks fantastic.

Original spare tire, super clean spare tire well, original paint code sticker,
heck even the windshield washer hose is hooked up to the spare.
This appears to be an original un-used spare tire as there are no paint chips around the lug nut holes
and the wheel weight is of the factory square design that Volkswagen used.

All original body panels, all original paint and all of it just gorgeous.
Sure you might be able to find a nice restored one for the same money, but there is absolutely
nothing that matches the quality of the factory. And all original cars, especially low mileage examples
always seem to edge out their restored bretheren in value as well as at the shows.

The stayfast canvas top is brand new and looks fantastic.
This is the only non original item and it is a very nice upgrade from the original vinyl.

Its very hard these days to find a true all original car. These last year convertibles were highly prized in 1979
and are still to this day. They represent the VW Beetle at it's most deluxe and most refined level.
They are a pleasure to drive, have the comfort of a more modern car, but yet it is undeniably a classic Beetle.
This car is one of the nicest we've seen. Its suitable for whatever you desire, daily driver
or weekend showpiece. Whereever it goes next I hope it is treated as well as it has been since new.
Its lead a pampered life indeed.
