This 1971 model comes to us from Alabama where its owner has given it a lot of love and money.
The car was completed about three years ago and really has not seen much use at all.
It has about 300 miles on it since being done!


The paint is recent as it the top and interior too.


Early style taillights have been fitted, the car is otherwise stock body wise.


Very cute ride, looks clean as well.


The top is new and in excellent shape.


Top down it looks even better!


Matching top boot to cover the top when down.


Chrome and rubber look to be in nice shape.


Interiror metal is painted white.
Looks like the door panel here is slightly warped and held in place with screws.




Dash looks pretty clean.


A modern radio that fits the vintage style and space without modifications.


Center console is a useful little accessory.


Seats looks nice!




Headliner is new as well.




Under the front hood is nothing to write home about...not too clean but not too shabby either.
A nice trunk liner will make a big difference in here.


Fuel tank looks new perhaps?


The engine is a mild performance unit from GEX with dual carbs and all the trimmings.
This has 500 miles on it since being installed!!


Clean.


All new.


Nice and clean below as well.


Body wise it looks very solid underneath with new floorpans in place.


Support rails look pretty solid in this photo which is a nice thing.










New brake lines are evident.


Looks like new front end bushings as well.












Back up to the topside it has a fresh and fun appearance to it.
It still needs a tiny bit of attention to be 100% ...small things like body trim, etc.
Its very close to being "done" but the picky owner will want to take it a step or two further.


Im sure up close it isnt perfect, but as you can see in the photos it is a real eyecatcher!
Fresh mechanicals, a lot  of new parts and materials and overall a pretty clean old Beetle.
And that color...WOW! If they dont see you coming in this...they are blind!!
