1962 VW Beetle Ragtop Sedan with Trailer For Sale!

OK...first of all...old VW's are cool and they get the chicks.
These are not the gold digger chicks either...these are girls that have some soul and respect for history
and are willing to get out and push when the battery is dead.
--> this is a very good thing guys! <--

If you are a chick and you are reading this...you rock.
If you are a dude...right on too brother!
This ride is wicked cool no matter where the top bar on your bike frame sits!

This 62 Sunroof is located in Utah and with it's matching Allstate trailer is a serious eye catcher.
Nicely restored, great look and style, and it runs and drives well.

Clean under the engine...not a leaker.

Solid and clean in the fender wells

Chassis is solid and rust free

Odometer reads 85k miles and change

Very solid example!

The little single wheel Allstate trailer is awesome!!

Taillights have been back dated just a pinch to the 56-61 models with the glass lenses.
(by the way behind those glass lenses are LED lights that are much brighter than the stock bulb)

Mud flaps too

Great color combination of the Anthracite grey with red interior.

Clean chrome and trim

Glass is excellent and the rubber seals are fresh.

The front hood is the early style with the flat area under the emblem (not raised up)

Euro style headlights

Nice clean apron and matching spare

Interior is in very clean shape.
I like the grey mats and the coco mats on top of them.
Fire extinguisher for safety and seat belts everywhere.

Dash is clean and uncut.
Locking glove box door, nice original radio

Nice!!

Chrome and trim look great.

Coker Classic radial whitewalls.

Wolfsburg hood crest and Volkswagen script emblem.

Front end had adjusters so you can set the ride height where you like it.

Back is set at stock height

That little trailer will follow you everywhere and with the single rear wheel that swivels
you can even back up with it easily.

Original cruiser pedal (not a repro)

Clean in the jams

Stering wheel shows just a bit of wear across the top

I see a wee little crack down there on one of the spokes

All the seals and fender beading in good shape

Clean in under the hood.
It was painted everywhere which is nice.

Canvas sunroof in very nice condition.

Rear window blinds are a very cool accessory

Clean under the lid

Strong running 40 horse engine is very clean and stock.
Converted to 12 volts, otherwise bone stock!

The mounts for the trailer are right off the bumper brackets and can easily be removed.

Sold new at  Sears!!

Nice!

The whitewall on the spare is a "port-a-wall".

Well done carpet and interior

Original Sapphire radio

Pop out quarter windows

The owner had the original 62 taillights painted to match and they are included if you wanted to put it back
to stock...but I love the little lights!

Dig it!

Yes...it's been to Bonneville!

Here is a pic of it all apart for paint... well done.

OK...you have seen the pix and the details...the car is really nice and it has a lot of style.
Your results may vary on the picking up the lady folk...but it obviously worked for Mr G.Q. in the photo above.
It might just work for you too!
