1973 VW Thing For Sale
One of the big attractions of the Thing is it's versatility and massive fun
factor.
In just a few minutes it can be transformed into the ultimate beach machine.
Fold the windshield down to hunt big game (or get bugs in your teeth)
pull the doors off so people can see your fatt butt squish the cushions...there
is simply no more fun
on wheels out there than a car like this.
And in a few minutes you can re-assemble it into a real car complete with
a roof and doors!
Presto-chango!
This particular example is probably the most well accessorized Thing I have
ever come across.
Dont take this the wrong way, but it's like a Peb Boys store from 1973 exploded
while this car was in the parking lot!
Its truly awesome and unique and it's "fully loaded" look and feel makes
it even more fun.
The car came from the dry state of Nevada and currently resides in beautiful
San Diego.
It reportedly has just 52,784 miles on it since new and it does truly run
and drive very smooth.
Its also super solid and rust free and shows no signs of any noteable damage
or repair.
Check out all the extra goodies! I will detail them a bit later...
