1966 VW Beetle Sunroof For Sale

Coming to you from Portland Oregon...we have a truly tasty restred 1966 Sunroof Beetle.
This car is sweeter than a sleigh full of candy canes!
(Christmas reference already?...hey who wouldnt want this under their tree?)


The car is very nicely done with a very good attention to detail and quality workmanship throughout.


The color is Savannah Beige and it is original for 66.


The 1300 emblem on the decklid was a unique attribute for 66.
The fat tailpipes are not original in case you are taking notes...


Pop out quarter windows are a must have for a sunroof car.


Excellent clean chrome and lenses.


All showroom new.


The factory sunroof is a big cool factor option!


Super straight and solid car.


It looks to me like the front end is just slightly lower than stock...it sits level which looks great
but when stock they always seem slightly nose-up like a cute puppy waiting to be pat on the head.
The running boards are not originals but thick aluminum ones with polished edges and painted tops.


So nice.




The interior is wonderfully stock and clean.
The dash is excellent and well trimmed and the parcel tray adds a little fun.


Steering wheel is very nice.


Original radio and instruments are very clean.


Technically the door panels are not the "exact" right stitch pattern for 66, but since
there isnt an off the shelf example that matches the original 100% this is as close as you can come.


All like new inside!


Nice polished door sill trims and well fit carpet.




Super clean in the corners.


Floormats are clean as well.


Nice fit and finish




Door latches look super clean.






I could get a little picky about some minor wrinkles in the headliner.... but I wont.
(LOL!)








Under the front hood is super clean!!






Wiring cover is color matched.
Wiring is all wonderfully tidy and clean.






Super nice!


Love the restored jack!!


Bumper brackets are painted silver...which is correct for 66!


Engine room is as tidy as the rest.


The engine appears very stock at first glance but is actually a dual port 1600cc with 12 volt electrics.
Excellent runner and driver.




Nice and dry underneath!!


Performance muffler runs through the stock outlets but gives adeeper exhaust note and a slight improvement in performance.


Chassis is very clean on this car!

I once read on a VW forum that someone referred to the pretty VWs on our website
