1963 VW Beetle Sunroof Sedan For Sale
The old car thing a lot of fun.
For me I love the hunt the best, the search and capture of a really special car or one with a great story.
When it comes to that quest, the true dream find would be a car that is all original and unrestored, but in mint condition.
Cars like this are the hardest to find and are certainly the most prized by collectors.
This little black sunroof Beetle could be the textbook example of that.
It is all original and
unrestored and has just 32,000 original miles since new.
Every time I see a car like this I stop and marvel at the whole thought of it.
These cars were made to be driven and used. Time and mileage takes its toll
and even with the best care, it seems like cars these days have a pretty short life span.
How a little car like this can emerge into the sun at 54 years old and look as showroom clean as this one does
just boggles my mind. Its like a miracle.

of photos below, please keep in mind that this is not a restored car, this is all factory stuff through and through.
The car is located in Connecticut.
There is something so pure and pretty about a simple black Beetle.
The only panel that has had any paint work done is the front hood.
The rest of the car is 100% original paint.

The lack of wear on the drivers side carpet is impressive.
They almost always show some signs of damage here.
Dash is superb...no radio ever installed
The headliner is a true miracle...especially for a sunroof car!
I love seeing an original headliner in this era Beetle as you can see exactly how it was when the factory did it.
We are all familiar with this headliner material, but in this year not the whole headliner had the perforated holes.
The door posts and certain parts of the center of the headliner actually have printed dots, not holes!

Car is currently fitted with as gel cell battery.
Still 6 volts, no modifications, but the stock battery cover obviously will not fit on this unit.

There are a couple of small flaws such as the light scratches on this fender edge.
