1969 VW Beetle Convertible For Sale

This Arizona based 69 convertible is a multiple magazine featured high level build
that is really a special car. We are proud to bring the " Taco Getter " to market
for the family of its departed owner. A true passion built car that needs a new passionate owner.

Built with the Cal Look style, clean and simple but focused on the details
and performance, it is no wonder the car was so well received by the press when it was completed.

The Cal Look style is timeless. While it started in the 70's in California
it is a look and style that has spread around the globe.

And of course what could be more California style than a convertible?

In 2022 when the car was done it was featured in both Hot VWs Magazine as well
and Volksworld in the UK.

Building his high school dream car was the owner's focus
but doing it at a level he never could have even dreamed of decades ago.

Huge pride in the results of this one, and obviously a budget to do it at top level.

Some of the best of the best had their hands in this one including
Competition Engineering that built the performance drive train for the car.

Great spread of the car.

As a member of the legendary DKK club, there were plenty of VW buddies that
helped make this dream car a reality.

One item of note...the DKK shift handle in this photo will be swapped to a standard Gene Berg unit
if the car is not sold to a current DKK member (They are picky about that stuff...its an invite only group)

Lots of fun accessories and custom touches on this car.

Its a beautiful ride for sure and it will undoubtedly continue to pull in awards
and endless compliments wherever you take it. Its an impressive car when you get into it
and with its understated colors and style it just hits different than most that I have seen
and I really dig it for that reason. Less is more...especially when it is this well done.
