This Southern California based Speedster replica is a very sweet example with
many upgrades and a very hot performance engine!
Classic Speedster looks without the hefty price tag of the original.
The car looks fantastic in black with the tan interior.
The chassis is a 67 VW, the title is a 2002 special construction in California.
No smog needed due to the chassis age.
The California plates have the look of the 50's plates but with a number sequence of a modern plate.
Some great add ons such as the fog lights and Speedster style cast grilles on the headlights.
Tuck away performance exhaust...chassis is very solid, car is in very nice shape.
Chrome 4 lug wheels with Porsche logo center caps.
Tires are very good.
Brakes are 4 wheel discs...so it stops fantastic!
The top is in excellent shape and matches the interior.
Nice to have the top when needed...but this is an open air driver most of the time!
Under the front hood is very clean. A custom fitted car cover comes with the car.
The battery is new.
The engine is a serious strong point on this car with a displacement of 2110cc!
Dual Dellorto 40mm carbs, deep oil sump, external oil filter, performance heads
and a fantastic Porsche 911 style center mount fan and shroud.
The engine has roughly 1500 miles on it since being built and it runs fantastic.
With this kind of horsepower and the lightweight fiberglass body...this car is fast and very sporting to drive!
Nice detailing inside the engine room as well...the car is very well sorted and was owned by a true
fanatic when it comes to cars. If he had something done...it was done right!

The interior of the car is very well appointed.
Matching top boot to cover the top when folded.
Nice banjo steering wheel with a great horn push.
Modern audio system, excellent seats and proper Porsche style instrumentation.

The car is very clean and classy...this was not a budget build...the owner went all out!
The paint is in very nice shape, it has always been garaged and pampered.
The only give-away that it is not a "real one" from the exterior is the wheels...the originals
had the 5 lug wheels with taller hubcaps. These chrome rims and caps though
look great and the fit of the trim and emblems and everything is very well done.
In closing this is a great example of a Speedster replica.
Well built, loaded with extras and upgrades, seriously hot engine and drivetrain,
4 wheel disc brakes..the works!
