1968 VW Fastback For Sale

This South Dakota based Fastback is a sweet ride.
Bought by the current owner in San Diego California in 2000
it has travelled with them as they have moved around the country
but the time has come to see it off to a new owner.
Its been garaged for the past 15 years and the maintenance kept up.
The engine was rebuilt early in their ownership, so it doesnt have a whole ton of miles on it.
A very clean look inside and out...not a show car, but a really good looking driver.
The engine was rebuilt in 2001, the brakes were done in 2011
as well as a variety of other services along the way.
The factory fuel injection has been replaced with a two barrel carb set up and the engine room
trimmed in a dynamat insulator material.
The odometer reads 68k miles, but as you can see, the needle is broken and is currently not functional
The inderside looks pretty solid in the photos that the owner sent...
hard to get a clear view with the lowered suspension, but they gave it a good try.
Not sure where this is exactly...
For the most part it looks nice and solid underneath except perhaps that one mystery spot.
Outside it looks fantastic

This car looks like a sweet ride for a very good price to me.
I have not seen it personally of course, but I would be happy to put you in touch with the owner
so you can go and cheak it out or get the real skinny on it.
Im digging it though...I have always loved a clean Fastback!
