This is a very interesting, and very rare Bus.
It is a 1967 model, Westfalia hardtop Camper...which is desirable in it's own right
but this Bus has two very rare features that I have never seen before.
Take a look at the photo above and lsee if you can see something "off" or out of the norm.

OK...did you see it?
Where the heck are the cargo doors???

Check this out!!
Cargo door is not only on the left side of the Bus...it is a sliding door!!
AND...for those of your smarty-pantses that think it must be a right hand drive model...
well it is NOT!

So...a European left hand sliding cargo door-left hand drive-westfalia hardtop camper.

Can you say RARE?

I have never seen another one of these, and I dont know if I ever will.
This is downright bizarre!

For the "M" code geeks...here is the tag.

Kilometer speedometer.

Multi band radio in the dash

Engine is all stock and very clean.
Excellent runner.

Nice level of detail to the Bus...latches are clean, hardware is fresh in many spots.

Woodwork and cabinetry inside is very clean

Very solid under the mats

Well trimmed out with all the camper bits.

Very solid example underneath

Very nice body and chassis on this one.

Paint is excellent, corners are smooth.

Other than perhaps a handful of stone chips, the paint is excellent.
There is a scratch on the roof rail from the rack installation.
But other than that it is quite sharp.

Interior is gorgeous!

All the tags are in place on this Bus.

Very clean wherever you look.

Under the mats is very solid.

Hula pig

Rain gutters and roof are in great shape.

This is what you want to see when you lift the mats!

This is a Euro model Bus with the simple blade bumpers and the Euro style headlights.

Nice and clean in the engine room

Excellent!

Under the seat

Nice wood floor.
Clean and cool curtains and extremely nice original finish on the cabinets.

Folds out into a nice bed...way comfy!

Great vintage Coleman stove fits right in the cabinet above the ice box.

Ice box is very clean inside

Such an odd combination!
I love it!

The Bus is currently located in Miami Florida.
It has been there for just a few years, prior to that it was in Southern California.

Very clean condition and all very stock and proper...nothing "custom"
or modified. Stock suspension, stock engine, stock colors, etc.

Door panels do have just a slight wrinkle going on.

Seats are excellent

Privacy curtain rail in place across the front.

1600cc dual port engine is a fresh rebuild and is very very clean
Excellent runner and driver!

Clean Florida title with historic plates and current registration.

Here is the little stove tucked in it's cubby

Side step is another nice accessory.

Note that the latch for the pop out window on the slider door is a unique design
that is much thinner to clear the door post!

Nice clean hardware in the doors.

Very nice inside and out.

In closing this is a very rare Bus that is also very solid and very well restored.
It is a model you are not likely to come across again.
Great addition to any collection and a very fun Bus to drive and enjoy as well.
