1959 Beetle Ragtop Sunroof Sedan For Sale
This stellar 1959 ragtop located in North Carolina
is an extremely special car.
Originally delivered in Europe, but fully restored in California.
The current owner bought the car in 2021 through Oldbug
from the owner/restorer who was truly fanatical with his approach.

The car remains in spectacular condition and mostly unchanged
from when purchased in 2021. The only additions have been a few accessories
which only add to the fun and appeal of the car.
Out back is something a bit special as well.
The 36hp engine has been outfitted with an Okrasa dual carb set up
and all the trimmings. Its an excellent runner and driver.
Under the front hood its been accessorized a bit with a leather strap for the spare
and some period picnic stuff.
Always kept out of the weather and under a color matched car cover
Excellent paint and very nice fit and finish to the restoration
The current owner added some taillights above the rear bumper
for added safety. These are installed without drilling any new holes
and obviously they add some more visible lighting for modern drivers.
The interior is done in the European cloth.
This is a factory semaphore car as well.

The steering wheel is an accessory unit often called a Rometsch wheel
as this style was common on the coachbuilt VW cars by Rometsch.
Its a direct bolt on replacement and the feel of it is awesome
with the textured dimples on the sides and the finger bumps.
Pop out windows
Glove box pull tab, very clean dash, no fuel gauge or grab handle in this year.
Seats are fantastic, modern seat belts as well
Door panels in wonderful shape
Speedometer is the correct early "clear needle" unit.
